DONT OVERUSE That bassline

Sorry, i must use honest review because the lead is cool.

I think that you are overuseing that bassline which is a popular one but you should get a little more creative with it. like making it an off beat bass, changing a note on the 4th beat. you could also have 3rd and 4th beat lead to the next two notes and so on.

There are so many differnt fun things to do. so i say spend 10-20 mins just playing around with different basses. maybe it doesnt even have to be near that.

notes could be way different and still go with the song if you know what im saying.

P.S. could you please leave some honest reviews on some of my new stuff. i have been getting better but i havent uploaded some things. so tell me what you think and be honest.

Hey!

As i listen to this i feel that i am driving in a Need for Speed game. Which if you have played before, there is a lot of GOA trance songs.

-Great percussion, you have always been super awsome with drums and such.

-You have some amazing effects and great sounds. Loving how you are kept the beggining sound all the way till you got a real bass in. Good work.

-Nice backround sounds/melodies, really keeping things interesting. Definatly not one of those boring 4min songs where nothing changes.

-At around 3:12 or so, i would have a low pass filter on that kind of computer/tech sound that you have going. I would have if fade out and then bring it all back in to make a Huge Climax moment. But your transition is still very good.

Hi Elph,

I'm not sure who put this review as useless because it was not me.

I have played a few of the need for speed games...not much but its fun escaping the cops. The whole filter and eq automation at the 3:12 ish build up took a while to get down, but I think your suggestion is something I should have done for the best result.

Unfortunately on NG the electronic songs that get noticed are the happy hardcore unoriginal repetitive stuff so its always a good thing to hear from someone else like yourself who also enjoys a more unique electronic music style like myself. Keep up your work. If anything, I'd listen to an original song anyday over the best rated NG unoriginal electronic song.
